I am a full service property management company that provides mowing, landscape management, weekly cleaning & much more for several apartment complexes here in town. The guy that has been doing the carpet cleaning and floor waxing/stripping/buffering is selling his business due to age and I have expressed interest in this. The equipment consists of 3 buffers, 1 stripper, 1 carpet machine, 1 vacuum and all the mops, buckets, buffer pads, wax and stripper for a price of $4,800. I have the client list of about 30 and all have been told I was going to possibly purchase his business and they were glad I was doing so. Have any of you ever had any knowledge of floor cleaning and seen the profits in such a business? I worked with him yesterday on a job and it was $225 for 4 hours of work. His overhead with help and all supplies included totaled up to $140. Do you see this as a good business venture?
