I am considering starting up a lawn care service in my area of Ohio I have a degree in Horticulture but I have been out of the industry for several years. I am considering the fertilization end of the business since there are less of those than Mowing. Our area has Trugreen, Greenlon, Scotts, and a couple other smaller companies. What I need is some help from you business owners on what to do to get started and competing with the other companies. I know I need to get a License to apply Fert I am in the process of getting that info. What about marketing accounts,Trucks, Products, Sprayer Equipment, Software for invoicing etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe Pros and cons of this business area as well.

Thanks again and all have a Great Holiday
