Bud, I'm a business owner, with a different role. I didn't say we are on the job site from 7am to 7 pm :hammerhead: This is just a short and sweet thread, not a novel on every waking minute. Life is good.

No way.......I'd rather do a 12 hour day of cutting grass than a 10 hour day of any other type of landscape work. It's true that it's go go go......but that keeps me energized. I don't get tired til I stop moving for a few minutes.

I'd rather mow grass than hump pavers and push a wheel-barr for 10 hrs.

Construction is push push push, no different than mowing.

Running a string trimmer for 8-10 hrs? Your body gets used to it. Unless you're heavy set.

If you have enough time on your hands to start a thread about being busy, busy, busy, you surely have the time to answer the questions posed by your peers in recent threads.

As one of your fans I await on pins and needles for the paver "grounding" explaination as I build a pool or two and feel that if you know something that concerns safety, you're professionally obligated to share the technique(s).

In my admittedly limited construction experience.....it seems like there's times where it's go go go, followed by standing around not doing too much. Watching a guy run the sole compactor.......scratching your head trying to figure out the solution to a problem you encounter etc etc.

Maybe if construction is all you do you learn to minimize these things and everybody keeps busy. But in my situation this just isnt the case.
