This might belong in the off topic forum, however I am wondering your thoughts on buying a used truck over new. I buy new every 1-2 years, but this year have noticed a large amount of nice 199-2000 model trucks on lots with around 20,000-30,000. miles on them. This truck will be the main truck for pulling equipment and plowing. Your thoughts on buying used over new? Of course I will keep this around for probably 1-2 years.

Most vehicles lose about %60 of their value in the first 2 years. Let someone else take the a$$ kicking. I say buy a 1 or 2 year old truck.

Oh yeah....the brand new trucks you do buy.......they are now used because you bought them. See what I'm saying? Just because you drove them for a year doesn't mean that they are now unreliable pieces of junk.

That's my take on it anyway.
