Buying lawns

    Had a buddy that just bought some lawns (something that i would never do)but,how do you come up with a price for selling lawns.Is it a percentage of what you have made over years or just what you charge per account.Thanks

    I just bought 200. The guy I was dealing with wanted a percentage.

    50% of a month or one months gross how good are they how bad do you want them

    do a search, this is on here alot, i wouldnt pay anything. to me, you'd have to be crazy to work a month for nothing, whose to say the customers dont bail. you'd want the seller to sign a legal non-compete and have a stipulation about getting paid for the customers that bail- just my $.02

    I had the notary put in writing that if more than 10% of the customers bailed that I would get a percentage of my money back from him. I made out really good and covered all my bases.
