buying new 21's

    when buying 21's what features count what features don't

    For your generalised question, I gave you a vague answer above.
    You need to be more specific. Are you using it as a homeowner, or professionally, and if professionally, will it be your main mower, or will you also have a larger mower? Flat ground or hills? Nice lawns, or beating through weedpatches? Whether or not it is self-propelled, mulching, bagging, etc...depends on your priorities.
    Ease of maintenance (changing oil, blades, filters, and rope) is also important. Dealers are another thing, if it breaks, does it get "sent out" somewhere, or fixed at the place you buy it?

    I use a 21" because, well, I didn't want a bigger one. The yards I do here in vegas are pretty small and a 21" works great in tight spots but can still cover a decent amount of space without eating up your day. My biggest regular customer is 1/2 acre and it takes me about 45 min. after edging and all that.
