Just a simple question. My brother has a landsaping business. He uses a Chevy C-30 one ton dually with a contractor dump. He says his truck has 1 1/2 ton axles. With larger axles he has larger brakes. I know they used to make 1 1/2 ton trucks in the 30s, 40s, 50s but I have never heard of 1 1/2 ton axles on a one ton dually. I know you can get a trailer tow package which have heavier springs and heavier front axle for snowplows. I need an answer so we can end this debate.
    Thanks, tdozerman
