We are looking into a cab over according to the guidelines we need a 176 inch wheel base. Has anyone driven one with that wheel base? Is this gonna be a pain in the rear or the same as a dump truck and 18 ft trailer. Will we be able to run this in the residential areas.

Also on the van style bodies is aluminum or fiberglass better what is the negatives with each one. What options are a must have on the van bodies.

You have to watch cabover trucks you need the right cab axle measurement for the size of van you want to use. You can't have too much over hang over the rear axle and the cab axle can't be too long so the front axle gets overloaded.

As for van bodies I would go with aluminum much more durable.
