    Hello:

I have two GMC 3500 HDs that I want to sell due to downsizing my business for college and their poor fuel mileage. I was thinkingof maybe getting a cabover flatbed dump to replace it. What do you all think? Would this be a good idea? I have a chevy s-10 ZR2 and maybe an older BMW soon (family member might be selling it cheap) so I thought I could drive the BMW as my "personal car" for it gets great mileage, have the s-10 be the company truck and personal truck until I get the BMW, and have the cabover be my work truck. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The cabover wont get any better fuel milage than the GMC.

I've heard that they sip fuel. Anywhere from 15-20mpg if not better. The GMC HD's are only getting 8mpg.

Ask a few guys that own them . My 2002 Isuzu NPR HD crewcab diesel gets about 12 mpg.
