I received a call from a potential new customer Saturday. This was an elderly lady who lives across the street from a current customer. She said my current customer recommended me highly. I went out to see her and agreed to do her work (mowing, shrub trimming, fertilizer, etc.). This isnt a large account, but is across the street from a current customer. The only reason she called me she had questions about something her current LCO had done (had used the guy for several years) and he would not call her back. She repeated several times that she was a very loyal person and did not understand why he did not call her back. I think she will be a very good customer, and I picked her up because the old LCO would not take the time to return her call and answer her questions. Moral of the story, return those calls even if you think the customer is upset. If we dont take care of our customers, we can be replaced!
