Camshaft/ timing

    In the process of replacing bushing at the top of the 23hp Kawa motor. During the process the crankshaft moved from the cam and now i need to know how to line everything back up so i don't ruin valves and pistons. New to site thanks for any help.

    I've never worked on a kawi motor before, but I'm guessing that it's going to have some dots that line up on the cam and the crank? Did you leave the cam chain on? I know you want to have your cam lobes facing down and the motor at tdc when setting timing. I can't really say for certain because I've never set timing on a kawi motor before, and really the only time i have done it is one a honda 80cc motor of a dirt bike before. Unless you have a idea of what your doing your probably going to want to leave this up to people that are experts on kawi motors. Good luck
