can i run kerosene in my truck (powerstroke)? its undyed
NO....it's ok to thin diesel with it durring the winter, But never run straight K1. Not 100%, but Ithink it dosen't have the lube quailties of diesel fuel.
besides is kero any less than deisel? -not
you can mix it with diesel, but running straight K1 it burns to hot for the motors witch can destroy them and like bowtie said not enough lube in the fuel
Kero around here is $4.45 were diesel is $4.87 and up...
yea K1 is cheaper
yea im paying 4.90 for diesel undyed kero is 4.09
I love diesel's, but fuel prices make me not want one
Kerosene around here is cheaper then regualr gas. Its about 3.65
$5.09 for dino oil around upstate NY.
