A replacement pump will cost $40. This is my utility tractor for the yard. I have an electric pump from a car. Can I do this? or is it too much gas pressure for the carb? The tractor has a 13hp Kohler motor.

What pressure does the pump put out? Small engines cant take much more than 2-4psi if you use an electric pump.

I think car gas lines are around 35 psi.
