can u help me

    hey guys
    i might be selling my bob-cat 219. it has about 220hours on it. it is 19hp 52in cut. what do you guys think this mower would be worth? it is not beat up at all it has been grage kept and i baby the thing. i was thinking 5,000 is that reasonable?

    How much did you pay for it new? I am going to assume it was around $6000 to $6500? If it was that much and its as nice as you say it is then I would say it would be worth the $5,000 your asking for it. 220 hours is virtually nothing on these machines.

    honestly i couldnt see you getting more then 3500 on it since it is a 2001 and there is no longer a warranty on it. No way would someone in there right mind buy it for 5000 when for 1000 more they can get a brand new one with a warranty.

    How do you know its a 2001? In that case your right. He might be able to get about $4,000 for it. In all honesty how many mowers break down while still under warranty? Of all the mowers we have ever owned we only ever used the warranty once and that was for a spindle on our lazer.

    Spring is right around the corner and the new crop is coming. I would advertise it for $5000.00 now and see if some new guy jumps on it. You can always go down but going up is hard. May have to throw in some new blades and an old trimmer push mower or something. Make it a " Lawn pro starter kit" and get the max out of it.
    We been selling stuff every couple of days now.
