I have a lesco 48" belt walk behind and I was wondering if you can really use a sulky on a belt drive?

I've got one a 36" belt drive and it has perfomed flawlessly for 3 years. So Yes you can.

I do it all the time with no problems but I live in the south and don't have to worry about striping so I don't have to do z turns - mostly just use a tractor pattern. It also allows me to mow at 6mph and when the heat index hits 100 plus it sure beats walking at 3mph.

Sure you can. Just be prepared to adjust your belts often.

On your Lesco belt drive you can't use Lesco sulky. Its for hydros only.

I have a 52 Lesco I use an old garden tractor sulky. Works well. Ed

I suppose that depends on what mower you are talking about. I have an Exmark and have never adjusted the belts.

I've used sulkies on a Toro and a Lesco that were belt driven, the Lesco did seem to need frequent belt adjustment w/ or w/out the sulky, I like straight lines though. :D

I have been using a jungle wheels sulky on my Metro HP for 2 years now. I have to play with the belts at least once a week on mine.
