Pulling will not work. Roundup if it is in beds. Good luck.

I've found that lesco 3way will kill just about any broadleaf out there

3way isn't going to kill thistle.

Try momentum, or spot treat with round-up

Use lontrel/stinger. It's salty but works well and you can spray right over the top of some landscape plants without damage.

Stinger is king, but you can not use it for residencial or commercial lawn and landscape. If anyone knows of any stinger labled for lawns and landscapes, please post that info.

I find that lots of chemicals will burn down the visible plant, but do not kill it. Over time you can get it under control, but it will take several years if you have a good hearty crop of thistle.

    Good luck

i use mec-d from united hort and it works great, also you can use triplet. i have found that when you cut this weed it seems to come back in 3's ?? easy to kill, hard to control. in the fall you can use low vol 3 ester (to hot now)
