Short of wheelbarrows, any tricks when the cement truck cant reach the area you need to pour a pad? I need 8 yards and the septic field is in the way.
Please don't show me one of those 1200lb motorized wheelbarrows, its just going to make me want more things I cant afford

Why don't you have it pumped? We have done it a couple times

you can rent a power buggy, most rental places rent them or you can get a pump truck there. the last time i priced one it was $500, but worth every penny instead of humping 8 yards concrete by wheel barrow. by my count thats like 50+ trips with a wheel barrow.

Nevermind, I just Googled it. I have never seen a truck like that. Glad I did. Thanks guys. McKee, $500 was the fee for the first hour of pumping + concrete?

we where doing 2 full trucks, like 22yards. that was the flat rate they gave me. this was the small pump truck, no boom, just a hose. $500 was just the truck.

have it pumped if you don't have help. It costs per hour, but you will save in labor and I assume you priced the job with this in mind anyways

Pumping wouln't be worth the $$ IMO for 8yds. Hump it old skool style!! It just makes you more of a man, and keeps the ol' blood flowing!

But I'm glad I know about the pump option now, thanks guys!
