Got a Case 224 hydraulic drive garden tractor that heats after about 45 minutes use. After tilling for that time the hydraulics seem to be very hot and the engine starts to miss, sputter, like it's not getting fuel. There doesn't seem to be any oil leaks. The cooling fan is operating normally.
Also, is there a way to flush the hydraulics. If so, what method is recommended. Ie. flush using what, etc.

The unit is powered by a Kohler K321 with a fuel pump, fuel tank under the seat at the rear.

In addition, does anyone know if the hydraulic tiller rotation speed can be adjusted for more speed and how?
