I have a cat 226 skid steer. The foot operated and hand throttle are stuck in the idle position. I think all it needs is to lube the linkages but everything runs under the floor. How do I access the throttle linkage to lube it?

Just start taking it apart and find out. Exploratory surgery may be the only way.

    I have a cat 247.
First I would unhook the throttle cable at the injection pump to see if it is the cable or a stiff pump lever. Then check to see if the foot or hand cable works now. To get to the cables does your cab tilt up, if so raise it up. Pull the 4-6 bolts on the floor panel. Now flip it over to check and see the cables.

    Good Luck.
    Doug.
