Cell Phone Use

    They can listen to the sound of the equipment through ear protectors. Might even save something from completely disintegrating.

    We all wear ear plugs. Does listening to music protect your ears from noise? I never wore ear plugs when I was younger and Im paying for it now. All of us wear ears and eyes.

    Yes...the earmuff style protects with an audio plug.

    Nobody in my unit went on patrol with a cell phone. Why? Remember the video of Marines pizzing on corpses. Its a distraction when your mind is supposed to be on work. It ends up being a corner cutting race to finish so you can get back to your texting, angry birds, fruit ninjas or whatever. Just because your on windshield time doesn't mean your off the clock.

    Actually I did, spent 9 years in and was in the Gulf war as well. U.S. Army Infantry out of Ft. Stewart.
