Does anyone use cement (type N) to build short walls out of solid brick pavers. Is there something I can add to cement so it wont freeze if it gets cold while using or after using?

There is an additive,I think it is called C21, that helps out. There does come a point where it is just too cold.

I'll try to remember to ask the masons at work tomorrow.

I have used stuff called Winter Admixture for Mortar & Concrete. Its made by a company called Euco. Works down to 15 degrees. Wouldn't have been able to use that for a week & a half here as night time temps have been well below that. You should be able to get it where you get your pavers.
