Some of you guys with experience with centipede, throw some suggestions at me with this problem. i have a homeowner that wanted 60,000 sq.ft. planted in centipede three summers ago. I told him that it would be 3 years before he had a fully established lawn. Well the 3 years have past and the lawn looks rough. It's about 70%coveredand he wants to do something to get the lawn to cover better. The other factors are that the last 2 summers in Georgia have been terribly dry, (he doesn't have irrigation) and there are areas in the established grass that have a fungus. I have sent off a soil sample and sample of the dead grass. My plan is to apply a fertilizer based on the soil analysis and to overseed the bare spots. I will probrbly core areate the whole yard as well. Any suggestions you may have will be helpful.
