I have a backyard that is mostly Bermuda, and Crabgrass in Central California. I'm guessing about 200-400 square feet of flower beds with nothing but the weeds, underground PVC water piping, and a drip system. I quoted the guy $200 to take down the weeds to bare dirt. I planned for 8 hours of labor by myself to get it satisfactory, but now I'm gonna bring my buddy in on it and go to 3-4 hours of work to get it excellent (which means splitting the money 60-40, but also doing a better job). I plan to pull up the drippers, weed-eat the weeds (they're dead, now),rake the ground clean, spray what's left, and replace the drippers, calling it job done. Now I want any suggestions as to anything I might be able to change to make this job more efficient, or more economical. I want to avoid tilling, do to the low estimate (I didn't plan on it), and the underground water lines... Thx in advance for ur input!
