My CH25 68579 is leaking at the oil cooler lines. I looked up the part on Kohler's site, and they show a straight piece of hose. Mine are molded hoses and I don't think straight would work. Looking at another mower with a CH27, I see the fittings coming out of the filter base are angled, allowing a straight hose to work. The fittings on mine are straight. Anyone run into this? Know where I can get molded hoses? I guess I could remove the filter base and try to find angled fittings, but I'd rather just find the correct hoses.

Believe it or not that's what they are...... You shouldn't have any issue replacing with regular fuel hose from any auto parts store......

    Think you had a typo...
Regular fuel line is not an acceptable replacement for oil hoses...
That stuff will swell up and burst...and possibly cost you an engine...
Most autoparts stores carry 3/8 oil hose in bulk...use that stuff...

    Here's what I use...
I bought 100 ft from a Goodyear rep a few years back...not cheap...$1.60/ ft back then..
Its better than Kohler uses...good stuff...good insurance against a $2000 failure...

I've had good luck with transmission oil cooler hose. Napa has it.
I use Oteiker style clamps. I think the clamps are as important as the line.
With the Oteikers, you never have to retighten, like worm clamps.
What nice about the Napa hose, it's very pliable.
