need a little advice on landscaping up against a chain link fence. its about 100 ft long, bed needs to be raised and install assorted shrubbery and mulch. im a little uncomfortable with the idea that the material may eventually spill through the fence, or that the neighbors over growth may come through the fence into the landscape. i did one job years ago like this, and we used railroad ties up against the fence to eliminate the problem. never found out the long term result of this, any ideas? thanx

Why not berm it? You know, Hump it up about 2 ft. from the fence and taper down on both sides. Just an idea.

You could try those little plastic strips that weave in-n-out of the chain link. Run them from side to side to the height of the bed. Did a job last year, same thing so we put in the strips and they seem to help.
