Just curious how everyone who has a stander mower goes about lifting the mowers for access to the blades. With my mowers in the past I would use a floor jack to lift the mower but with the JD Quiktrac there is not a solid place to put the jack in order to raise the deck. I thought about getting either an engine lift or a mower jack like Jungle Jim's manufactures but I want to get everyones opinion first. Thanks

I don't have a quick trak but maybe you can slide the floor jack under the center anti scalp rollers on the front of the deck. I have JD 757 and thats how I lift mine. Of course it depends on how tall your floor jack is, while all the way down.

Mike, thanks for the suggestion but thats what the problem is. The front roller is too low to the ground and my floor jack won't slide under.

Jungle jack, they advertised it lifting the original surfer. I love my JJ.

I have a Quicktrac. I just run it up the ramp on the trailer with a wheel hanging of.

We use the Jungle Jim lift. It works great and is fairly inexpensive. You just slide it under the deck lip and lift.....wala!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I think a Jungle Jack is probably going to be the way to go. Are they only available through Jungle Jim's website or the fliers they send, or is there a supplier that I can get it through. The reason I ask is that I have noticed that a lot of times you can get a better price by going through a supply house than you can buying directly from the manufacturer.
