Fairly new to the business and would like to know what people are charging for an acre lot, 3/4 of the lot is an open flat area and the other 1/4 is around the house with a lot of trimming necessary and trees to go around. Have a 48" rider and will be cutting the lawn and trimming. I'm figuring an hour to mow and 20 minutes for trimming/blowing. Thanks for the help in advance!

If you were to use the SEARCH function in the upper right hand corner of this page, and type in mowing you will find all kinds of pertinent information to your question.

As for acreage mowing our prices range from $28 an acre to $55 an acre depending on geography, difficulty of the property to be maintained, and travel time.

On a flat property 45 to 55 sounds ok. I charge 60 to 100 for very hilly sites. Marks Mowing Service
