I am in the beggining stages of starting a Lawn company. I was wanting to find out how some of you charge for weeding. Do you charge by the square feet, or just charge hourly?

Do you mean like weeding the beds? If so, I usually guess at the time that it would take and extend it by my hourly rate so that I can give them a flat ballpark price.

I charge a flat hourly rate of $50.00 an hour.

Hand weeding is too time intensive, much easier to go get your pesticide license and spray the weeds.

Unless you are in Florida or a state with similar regs.

Florida doesn't allow you to spray weeds?
