charging fuse keeps blowing on my sentra?

    the charging fuse keeps blowing. replaced a bad battery the other day and now the fuse keeps blowing that is right under the ingition. please help thanks

    jnmaricic,

    First thing you will want to do is look over the ground connections and harness connections, make sure they are clean and secure. Also check the yellow wire where it connects to the key switch, it is by itself and not part of the main connection. Sometimes over time this connection can work loose and cause this type of issue, if it is loose just squeeze the female connector together clean up the male blade and reattach.
    Also look over the harness and make sure the yellow wire is not getting pinched or touching metal in its path from the engine to the key switch.
