How do you charge yearly clients? The customers that you mow for in the summer and keep up on the weeding, while in the winter you prune, etc.?

Just like everyone, we offer per mowing pricing but we prefer to offer annual contracts. The client pays the same amount every month for 12 months. This keeps an even cash flow in the winter months (time to buy new equipment for tax purposes) Of course, we don't mow as frequently but we do maintain their lawns. In the past few years, we find ourselves mowing some property 12 months out of the year. (Some may just get once a month mowing). With the mowing contract, we tie in a fertilization program as well as overseeding and aerating offering. More money makers. Be careful how you quote annual contracts. Remember, this practice is to benefit you more than the customer!
