charging

    Im just starting out. When doing cleanup for someone do you (all)(anyone) charge for the dumpsite charge separate from hourly billing??? NOt sure....Thanks

    Yes, we charge b/w $45-70 per load depending on volume and weight.

    Remember, you have loaded the truck and left. You should be paid for the time it takes you to dump the truck as well as any dumping fees incurred.

    I give the custemer the bill with a lay out of the charges and what not,,with distance and all.50c a mile from home to dump site

    I charge from the time we get to the job untill the job is complete plus dumping fees.I show a breakdown on the bill Labor=xxx Dumping= xxx Total =xxx

    you should just include the dumping fee with the hourly charge as one lump sum. Some customers will try to pull fast ones like, "Hey my brother can haul that away so I don't have to worry about the dump charge, just pile it by the curb."
