Yesterday we had what they are calling the worst storm we have ever had. It came in 3 waves of tornado's. So far I think there are like 15 confirmed deaths and over 100,000 without power. My power went out last night around 8:00 and I got gas cans and got the generator running and our power came back on around 3:00 in the morn. My family was very fortunate our house was not touched and we have power back on. We have some friends coming to spend the night at our house tonight that are out of power. Please pray for our town.

The last pic is a trees down in my moms back yard, the view from the deck that used to be the back yard. She had trees fall all around her house but not one hit the house thank God. The white house is my moms next door neighbor and they were not home when the trees hit the house.

Glad to hear that you and your family are ok and did not get any damage. Those storms did a lot of damage down by you. Hope every body stay safe.

WOW! this is insane. i go to UTC and there's no damage like this downtown. i had no idea the damage was this bad elsewhere. we went out last night to try and procure something to eat and experience the crazy blackouts and saw one tree down. will pray for those affected. thanks for the pictures 944.

Yea I know I live in E Brainerd and we did not get hit that hard. My mom lives on Missionary Ridge and it came through there pretty hard.

I know they were calling for rain all day Monday and I ended up mowing 9 yards. I actually mowed one this morn and have a really full day tomorrow. I will probably end up working Saturday to get caught up.
