    going off memory,
    i think the 007 talstar/crosscheck (same product) 50 lb/ bag-from lesco
is labeled for 3.3 lb/1000 for most turf damageing insects

    so about 14-15k per bag
sometimes when i buy this product its 10/bag other days its 13/bag
lescos prices seam to change with the wind - i dont get it

    so lets say 14,000' from a $12 bag= .85/1000

We like Crosscheck (Talstar) at 1 1/2 ounce per gallon for broad spectrum insect control, and it's relatively cheap. But for mosquitos, you want to go 2 ounces per gallon. Sevin might be safer though, as it is also used in flea/tick shampoos for pets.

Two ounces per gallon is super high, you can effectively kill Hardshells @ an ounce per gallon, but if it works for you great.

Is there an advantage to granular vs. liquid BESIDES application method? B/c liquid is a lot cheaper...
