Quality, effectiveness and ease of use,,, are characteristics much more important than cheap... :)

Yeah I already have the garden weasel. There are several knock off versions of those floating around.

Just looking for the best price online for one....actual grass stitcher.

I remember talking with someone about it last Fall and it seems that there's one company that produces a good one... 2different sizes... it may even be under patent yet,,, so no knock-offs available???

What has your search gotten you so far??? An LS sponsor or not???

Check eBay. I just bought one from there like a week ago. Can't remember price but it must have been the cheapest or I wouldn't have bought it from there, lol.

I have one I'd give away. It just did not do what I expected it to do and I never use it. It's destined for a garage sale.

Well I have slit seeders for anything of size but for spots I use some little weasel knockoff I got at Ace Hardware. Thin steel blades vs fat dull plastic blades.

I hate to knock a product but with plastic blades that stitcher is useless.

If they put steel blades on it then it would work fine.

That is useful information for those who might want to 'do better' than a weasel... I like the weasel too... :)
