i have a lawnboy 2 cycle. i think the primer bulb may be blocked or something because it won't start at all. until, you turn it over on its left side. then pull the rope and it starts every time... anyone know why? how can this be fixed.. i look like a mow joe turning it on its side to start it..

Is the carb in the back on your model? Maybe there is water in the carb bowl try removing that and be sure gas is flowing. Next be sure the carb choke is closing all the way on start up some of the 2 cycle units just won't start unless they are fully chocked.

yeah, the carb is in the back. i've taken that stupid carb off so many times i think i can do it with my eyes closed... the whole carb choke may just be what i'm looking for... i might have screwed it up putting it back on... thanks for pointing that out.. i'll try it out tomorrow... :waving:
