Has anyone tried spraying iron with their Perma Green? What were your results?
I would make very sure you empty and thoroughly clean your sprayer after every use. At high concentrations iron can do bad things to a perma green sprayer.
Try a liquid like Supertrace (2-1-2-6% iron) or Speedy Green (15-0-0-6% iron) and you won't have any trouble, except for wheel marks if you use 30-40 oz 1000/sq ft. If you can apply at least 1 gallon of solution 1000/sq ft and water within a few hours the wheel marks will be minimal. Responses should be noticed in one day or less. Rinsing is always a must with any iron product. Neal
This is an old thread. I am still wondering if anyone has actually tried this. What were your results?
go light if u dont it will turn the lawn black
reading the labe rates for liauid iron, i don't think the permagreen will do it, iron goes down w/ plenty of water like 2-6oz per k. and the lable does not mention low volume applications.
