I am looking at a 1993 GMC 4000 cabover spray
truck in good shape for $8500.
I could switch it over to a flatbed and lawn care truck real
    easy.
Anybody heard about these trucks.????? They auction all
    off at like 80,000 miles.
You can buy the same one cab & chassis for $6800, but
these are fully equipped with all spray accessories and
    300 & 100 gal tanks.

    Can you post pictures?

Why purchase yesterday's ideas when you can innovate?;)

dont forget though that while the miles may be low, the hours on the engine will be rediculous. I was told that the TGCL tanks are powered by the vehicle engine and that their trucks run all day long. That, my friend, is alot of hours.

  4. Being your in MN www.traderonline.com Whalberg-Kohls ford has them, you can find them online, by searching the trader site.

They are in your state with a few of them for sale.

Maclawn is correct they sell them with close to 10,000 hours which is like several hundred thousands of miles.

Many have had the hour meter replaced due to it failed and they need it for maint due to the truck is serviced by hours not mileage.

I have an inside guy with TGCL now and can buy them direct from then when they have some for sale.

Unbelievable how much these trucks were sold for, all I am saying on that subject.

Let me tell you, you have a LOT of bargaining room on the price of $8500.

    Godfather,
Thanks for the info. I talked with kohls-ford.
Any info on how much they sold for or buying direct.

You think there worth 8000 like that.
    Thanks for the help

I would rather set up with 11ft aluminum beavertail to put
my mowers on and mount one sprayer up front

i think the yankee clipper did something like that. put his tank in the middle of his trailer and then had a side gate for his mower up front and had his ZTR in the rear... do a search and find it.

i checked it out his screen name was different, then his biz name.
    still looking

I saw one of those on e-bay about a year ago and drove 14 hours to Dallas only to find a yard full of junk. These were old "Rhino" chemlwan truck but they were worn out. Rusted junk. My guess, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. I fell for it though!

I don't know as it's been a while. I certainly don't want to badmouth the guy or anything and those trucks may be right for some people. Not me. Insides of the shells were extremely corroded. Someof the "rhino" shells were cracked. Maybe I went at a bad time. He had about 6 on the lot. Check it out if your not too far from Dallas & let me know what happens.
