I'm a chevy owner and the last 2 I've owned have been plagued with electrical problems giving warning signs or throwing SES codes more often than not, most times nothing is wrong.

Is it me or is this a much more common occurrence in chevy trucks than others? Or is this just a fact if life with all modern trucks constantly trying to clear codes and fixing sensors?

Yep Chevys are known for it
Dodge and ford not so much. Volvo cars are horrible for it

Ed look into throttle body. Is it acting up?

The last thing on my list is truck problems and especially on this
almost new trucks. What I have learned is it a short warm up thing that is messing up. After about 2 minutes the engine smooths out. Hope it can wait until winter or inspection time. One of the 30 things to check is air filter and .....on and on. All the rest are complicated like stuff related to throttle body. Doubt that shooting carb cleaner will do anything.

I cannot tell you how many Chevy throttle bodies I replaced for various stupid ****. They far out fail any other brand lol.

Live data will help narrow it. It's most likely the actual throttle body. Which of course has to be replaced. Nothing to fix on it

How many miles on it? My '09 had to have the PCM replaced at 48,000 miles, Chevy customer service towed it in for free and covered it under warranty.
