They are now being made.
id rather have a cabover isuzu
awesome pic....i love the 4500 seris trucks.
Bad@$$, how much do they go for? 4wd?
I saw a blue one like that at my local Chevy dealer, only it had a bed on the back. It looked like a pick up truck, on steriods.
I don't think the 4x4 C4500/5500s will be in production until July 2004.
I don't think Chevies idea on building these trucks they are too large and ugly the cab is too big for the chassis it sits on the people in the 1.5 - 2 ton market want smaller dimensions. With the F-550 it looks like a P/U it blends into traffic you can park one on a residential street and it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
Your better off going with a low pro International over the Chev 4500 because you get better power and carry more and probably costs about the same.
You don't see many 4500s on the road yet I don't think they are big sellers.
Looks GREAT to me.
It's also my kind of brand.
I Just missed a 83' chevy 3500 crew cab dually with a 454 auto for $3400 b/o
Damn I miss that truk.
If I had a 4500, I would be proud to park it on my street. I'm pretty sure everyone in my neck of the woods would be jealous.
i love the look of the chevies.........wouldnt own anything other than one
