i'm more or less just bustin' ur balls...u very much so have a valid point with a manual trans. and a cummins, a friend of mine is a farmer and has basically been nothing but a cummins family and they always got manual trans because they were better than the automatics...i just think dodges from the transmission back are the most problematic of the big 3, but they have the best engine, unfortunately

many say a cummins backed by an allison in a ford would be the ultimate truck, i would have to agree, but since that's not practical i side with ford simply because the trans. is comparable to the allison (since 2003) and if you delete emissions to the 6.4 or put in stronger head studs to the 6.0 (and delete EGR) then you can have a pretty reliable engine, sucks you have to do that but still...the problem with dodges is the truck that wraps the cummins...the only thing i dont like about GM is they come in dead last IN MY OPINION on looks, but overall might have the best track record as far as transmission and engine go...

I suppose I should have worded it differently. I know how I want to type something, but sometimes it comes out different then intended.

well i think you were trying to make fun of me but it back fired...i was talking about the torqshift, fords torqshift, you do know that ford calls their transmission the torqshift don't you? not the horrendous TorqueFlite, which you originally misspelled (i noticed you corrected it)...i didn't even know chrysler called their transmission a torqueflite, i always thought it was something like 46re...but then again i'm not the transmission specialist here
