I saw it again to day. A dixie chopper on a trailer running. It appears that he leaves it running all day even while fueling. Is there a problem starting those things, or is it a starter saving technique I haven't heard of? This is not the first time I have seen this. Just curious.

Was it a deisel or gasoline engine? The other times you've seen this was it always on a Dixie or were they other brands?

Kholer gas. Always Dixie. But around here you cant swing a dead cat without hitting a dixie they are everywhere. Maybe they are jusrt isolated incedents where the operator is having a problem. Just seems odd and a little dangerous. I would not want an extremely hot piece of equipment launching of a trailer.
