Maybe some can help me out on this. I have a potential client with a serious cicadas killing wasp problem, by serious I mean a fairly large section of their front yard, maybe 300 to 400 sq. feet of damage. Several mounds, I counted about 9, but some were hard to indentify as entry holes, the area is now totally void of grass. However I was told by the owner that the infested area was heavily covered with crabgrass and that several lawn contractors we unable to get the crabgrass under control.

What is the best way to control these wasp and their eggs and when is the best time to attack this problem.

So far my research has suggested Cypermethrin, Carbaryl 5% and Talstar EZ.
