How much do these licenses usually cost. Does it differ from city to city.
I am in Gainesville, FL and I had to pay a one time $60.00 fee for a home occupation permit and then the landscape contractor license was $120.00 per year, but my home is in the "free enterprise zone" or something like that so I got half off. My license allows me to do any maintenance, planting, or irrigation not connected to the water main. I think that all cities and counties are different. If I would have been outside the city it would have only been about 15 bucks.
They sent to info back to me...It is 150 for the license.
What exactly is bonding. I need to be bonded to be licensed, i need to be licensed to put in a bid next friday for a job I did last year. Go figure.
Thats not too bad, it feels good to be licensed I bet. I would assume you need insurance as well for the bid but I'm not sure. I'm not exactly sure what bonded it, I dont hear about many being bonded around here. I think its similar to insurance though.
