Easy enough job. I didn't really take any pictures
Just completed a job for a city where they decided to replace all 15 valves and put them in new boxes
It was fun except I had to do it all myself which was bs on my bosses part.. Some of the plumbing was very wacked!
The city speced double valve box 13-24 ( the one above jumbo size )with one inverted and a valve box extension on top to be installed for each 1.5" valve.
I persuaded them to let me do jumbo boxes and without the extra extension... Still I had to dig down 3' for every valve.
The valves will have gravel in all of them and i'll clean up the wiring as best as it can be
The most annoying part was every valve was along a 4000' walkway so EVERYONE HAD TO STOP AND TALK TO ME
It wasn't mysteriously. He chose to leave. It was one person in particular.... but hey.... I guess his occasional mention of remote pigtails was too much for this guy. On the bright side we now have a dude hocking some sort of sprinkler collar to replace Peter..... Personally I'll take the occasional mention of a pigtail over the relentless push of a gimmick.
Been good here dude. Actually your brother contacted me a couple days ago while he was in town here. Unfortunately I couldn't meet up that day. Mom hit a curb and blew a tire, and of course, Dana to the rescue.
time to consider our ski thread I suppose. You will have to call in sick for a few days this time. All work and no play...... makes Argos a rich man
I wonder who that was? I for one, never needed frequent personal e-mails advertising product. I saw it as overly soliciitous and self-serving, by way of the forum. :hammerhead:
I never got emails touting product. Of course, I signed up for the forum with a spare email account I check once every few months, so I wouldn't know or care about product hype.
Next guy to write Fimco should tell him to give us closure on his pump repair thread.
He's not the only one who's never given closure, but given our advice (right or wrong), it would sure be nice to hear about it; that's the least we expect. I did ,years ago, and copped to it, not that any of the forum advise was any good, it turned out; it was my own screw-up and my fault; my buddy Russ found the valve after I'd given up. Lot to be said for bringing in a fresh mind when one starts going to the dark side.
i just kept tripping breakers. Posted via Mobile Device
