I just got a new septic system put in my backyard and in need of clean fill or top soil how much should I expect paying for per double dually load ? And I always thought it would be free or just a fuel charge ?

House is in howell and any help would be greatly appriciated to a fellow lawnsite and plowsite member

    Thanks

expect about $9 a cubic yard for clean fill and $18 a cubic yard for topsoil and add a delivery charge on top of that. i dont know what kind of truck youre thinking about but a reg mason dump with a 9' body will haul about 4-5 yards of dirt

the septic contractor that finished the job advised me to get about 9 trucks or so to get my back yard graded the way it should be, a load being $250 - $300 for clean fill
