Just got a killer deal on a couple L shaped transfer tanks, used of course. From what I can sea there is no heavy rust. What is the best way to clean these out? I want to make sure there is no sediment or moisture in the tank.

Slosh some diesel fuel inside and empty it out and burn it on an open fire. Anything else might contaminate the diesel you will carry.

Por15 makes a tank sealant-I would probably use some to ensure its all kosher.

If there is rust- it will be sealed in

Subscribed. I have an old tank that has been used for years. We had some problems with the diesel in our machines last year. We think the tank has sediment in it. I want to clean it out but I'm not sure how.
