Clearing 100 acres in Florida cost

    Is that really the market down there?

    That's terrible pricing IMO. I charge over $100 an acre for first cut.

    its really not a bush hogging job at all...I would send photos but there's no point. There are enormous trees that need to be taken out (Pepper and wax myrtle and what not)...not stuff you can run over with a bush hog.

    Whiffy Spark...everything is much more expensive up where you live.

    First, I would call a logging company and have them see if there is any usable trees that they want to cut and remove. They of course will pay you a percentage.

    After that, rent a bulldozer and go to town pushing up trees and brush. Wait about a year and then burn the piles. What's left, bury it with the bulldozer.

    Personally though, you need to call in someone local and get an assessment of the environmental impact of what you are doing, and if what you want to do is actually feasible in general and by law.

    Yeah that's my biggest concern is if there's conservation status or gopher tortoises or something

    So you guys who are trying to get 100 per acre what are you using and how thick of material are you doing ?

    You're not gonna like my price to clear, pile, burn and rough grade a true 100 acres...

    I get 100 per acre just bush hogging a field.

    3500 an acre or so to clear it

    You guys do know there are clearing companies around here that will clear wooded land for under 100 per acre plus fuel. How many acres can you do an hour ??
