So for roof lighting do you guys attach the clips and bulbs while on the ground and then put them up in one shot? Seemed to save some time.

What about those clips on the sockets, do you put the all in one over them or break off that clip that comes on the socket?

Any help will be appreciated, we are still learning the ropes but have 3 jobs under our belt and learning a little more each job!

Yes, if its a new job we have one guy installing the bulbs on the ground while the other is on the ladder or roof with a pocket full of clips. We have put clips on also on the ground but sometimes they fall off, or get caught on something on the way up, or you have to switch them around from gutter mount to under shingle.

If possible, and depending what outlet you are heading for, install the stringer with socket clips up so they fit more snug in the clips.

    Good Luck!

Depends on the situation, I have done it both ways, I keep a 5 gallon pail with me full of all in one's.

We typically put the clips on on the ground and put the all in one through the socket clip because it helps them stay on better. But I have found that it is easier to clip it as you install if you are working alone and don't have somebody to untangle the lights from the bushes
