Coil Impedence Kohler CV15T

    I don't think I got spark but kinda hard to tell with my little gap tester. Is it possible to measure the resistance from the plug wire to motor ground and tell anything. I havn't pulled the housing to see if there is a gap problem. This is an older unit that ran fine until today and it wouldn't start. I unhooked the kill circuits so that isn't a factor.

    Thanks you very much.....now I need to get that unit in the shop

    Apparently resistance isn't the full story. Mine measured 14K but was still bad. I replaced it with a coil from an old engine and the engine started on the first pull. Just another data point.
