Cold Weather Installation Techniques

    Just a few snapshots of our last installation of the season. The propane hot-spotter came in VERY handy as the frost was in a good 3" or so.

    That looks cold. Why is the boss holding the flame? I thought all he did was point and shout.

    Some things are best tried and done by "the boss", especially when you are blasting flame onto the grounds and around the foundation of a $10M home. Besides, I actually like doing installations. It is a lot more fun and interesting than doing paperwork.

    Sorry to brag James - my guys peeled off the jackets by about 10am - it was about 70 degrees this afternoon. Our winter has been very mild so far - we have had some record highs. But, its supposed to drop back into the 30's in a couple of days. Here are a few pics of an install we did today. Not a typical property for us - we will go back and finish tomorrow.
